Lived here for 8 months but knew a couple people who have lived here for years. My apartment was pretty big, large windows and balcony. We started off a little rocky, they had painted the bathtub and the apartment was quite gross. They switched Superintendents about four months into my lease and things got better. The new super seems very nice. I never really met him but talked with him during my move out process. The super does live in the building, which is really helpful considering I have a habit of locking myself out of the building. Overall, the apartment building itself is older, needs some maintenance done but it's not going to crumble anytime soon. The residents are quiet, it has mostly couples, families, and lots of dogs, so sometimes you hear that but not any parties usually. The area is very nice, right by the Ottawa River Pathway and a safe neighborhood. I went for walks after dark and never felt threatened. There is a laundry machine in the building, it had 6 washer/dryer machines in the one I used but I think there are two laundry rooms and it's card operated, they give you one when you move in. It's a secure building, you need a FOB, which lets you into the laundry room and actual building itself. They have a parcel locker with Canada Post, but other packages from Amazon were brought up to my apartment door by courier. I will say that I did have cockroaches for around 2 months. The old super didn't really do anything about it and they were gone by the time the new super got here. I know they were planning on fumigating but I don't know exactly what happened there. I put down some borax and had some products of my own that worked fairly well, I still saw a few here and there after but all were dead. My neighbors don't have them anymore either. It's a nice area and a nice apartment. If you're looking for a building that's not luxurious but still livable I would say this is a good place to live.

Peaceful place. Near beach, near malls. Clean environment and nice people in the building.

We have been living here for only about a year and have constant issues with the building. The hot water not working 50% of the time, our bathroom needing to be renovated due to inadequate air circulation, countless bugs we've seen in our apartment, fire alarms going off at 4:00am in vacant units, the dryers leaving BURN marks in our clothes, the washers leaving a funky smell on them, and just an overall bad state of the apartment. We don't have a dishwasher of our own, we live in just about 600sqft and pay $1700 monthly in rent not including the hydro we pay as well as the money it costs for doing laundry. This is ridiculous. If you can live somewhere else do it.

The property manager, Kevin is very helpful, down to earth and has simplified our onboarding process into the apartment. So far having a great time at this place.
