We chose this Marriott based on its reputation and expected a higher standard of care, especially over the holiday period. Unfortunately, our stay fell short in several areas. While the hotel has had some recent cosmetic renovations and appears modern at first glance, there were noticeable maintenance and cleanliness issues. In our room, there were visible cracks in the walls and door frames, stains on the carpet, decaying grout issues in the shower, mold in our ice container — a literal dollar store bin (which we later exchanged for a proper ice bucket with a lid), and the bathroom fan did not work on our first day. After multiple attempts, it eventually turned on, but showed clear signs of wear and significant dust buildup. The rooms are not well insulated and most of the suite entrance doors slam shut so any sounds made by guests in the halls or above the room can easily disrupt your sleep and general enjoyment. We also observed an ant issue — hundreds of ants were visible in the pool area, and any food left briefly on suite counters or in garbage bins quickly attracted them, which was concerning. The breakfast buffet offered standard, basic options. However, the hot food selections were often lacking in flavour and appeared repurposed rather than freshly prepared, which was disappointing for a property at this price point. They also advertise breakfast until 10AM but by 9:30 staff are beginning to pack up and put items away. We stayed over Christmas Eve and Christmas Day and were surprised that, aside from seasonal décor, there were no additional holiday touches, special offerings, or communication to acknowledge the season for guests. Most significantly, our stay involved a serious incident that was stressful and unsettling. While management later indicated the matter was reviewed internally, the overall handling left us feeling unsupported and disappointed. There are positives here, but based on our experience, this property did not meet the level of service, maintenance, or guest care we expect from Marriott.

I've attended several events here and this is an excellent venue in an excellent location. The space is well equipped for presentations, banques, or any other events. The wait staff are always friendly and helpful, the food service is nicely presented, tasty and suited to the event, and the space is clean, bright and inviting.

Attended a debut party this evening. The event place was spacious, foods was great including service. Nice place to hold an event. However, the audio sound isn't that good. Am not sure if it's dancing or dinner concert event if the audio is different. Event room was clean and spacious. Maybe bring a pro dj and bring the house down?

The room was clean and nice, beds were comfortable, the hotel was very quiet which was nice. BREAKFAST SERVICE very poor in the bistro, paid for the upgrade and we sat at a table for almost 15 min while the attendant looked at us, it took what appeared to be a manager to let her know she needs to serve our table, I ordered the egg breakfast which was good considering its a hotel, the server missed several things I requested for my order and did not provide any condiments. So the food was simple and as served. She did not even once come and check on our table to see if it was good or if we needed anything. And gave us the bill requesting gratuity before we recieved our food. I asked her to leave the bill till we were done but just like when I asked for orange juice with my meal she didnt hear me and walked away. Its clear the hotel need work in this department but otherwise the stay was nice.
