Stayed there last weekend for one night on main floor, when we got home the next day my sons legs were covered in bed bug bites and I had a few as well. Avoid this place!

THIS LOCATION IS APPARENTLY CLOSED UNTIL END OF 2027. The hotel cancelled our rooms for a wedding block, no compensation offered, called holiday inn and magically after 2 attempts there is a note that the hotel has been closed Oct2023 to Dec31 2027. DO NOT MAKE ANY RESERVATION HERE AS YOU WILL NOT GET MONEY BACK. Just points, and it’s not enough to cover the same stay at their suggested locations! Shady at best.

My experience with the Holiday Inn Express Hotel (IHE) was excellent. I have stayed at the IHE two times: in the 1980's and through 2020 - 2025 as a resident in Toronto. The staff services from laundry to room cleaning and food services was excellent. IHE has friendly front desk staff that know the city of Toronto and their duties as front desk clerks. My hotel room was clean and stocked with clean towels and toilet paper each day. The heating and air conditioning ( H & AC) was good and later became fair because the (H & AC) needed repair. The hotel has gone through renovations. Thus, some parts of the hotel now look different compared to what the hotel looked like in the 1980's. When the renovations are complete the hotel will look like it did in its luxury days of the 1980's. Overall, the Holiday Inn Express Chain of hotels are high quality family hotels that I can recommend anywhere in the world. Yours Truly, Michael Clayton

First time attending a hotel, very friendly staff from reception to the cleaning staff. Always smiling. The room I stayed in was very spacious, bed was great size and felt great. Was easy to call reception from the room and ask for any help and they were quick to fix any problems. The breakfast bar was Good, nice range every morning to choose from. Although the pancake machine was what I was looking forward to - it was pretty basic and only had it once or twice. But you had other nice options but you have to get up early to get a good pick and it does shut at a certain time. Also if you need a taxi, the receptionist quickly makes that available for you which was great. Love that the hotel was close to some other food outlets so you don't have to go down town or quite far if you want a McDonald's or something. The keg was literally next door, nice eataway. Would go back! :)
