Stayed here March, 2026. Very nice staff. The lobby is clean, very presentable, and smells great (must be pumping something into the air lol). Room was nice, as was the bathroom. No complaints at all.

THIS REVIEW IS FOR SARAH! ✨ From the moment I walked in, Sarah set the tone for how welcoming and smooth everything would be. She was friendly, professional, personable, and went above and beyond to make sure I felt taken care of. Some businesses forget that they are in a people first/people servicing industry, so it can be rare to come across someone who truly enjoys what they do. Sarahs warmth and attention to detail made my stay great. My colleagues and I arrived 3 hours before check-in, but did Sarah have an issue with that? Absolutely not! She made the necessary adjustments to ensure we all were able to be checked in. The room was clean, bed was comfortable, and room service came 2/3 out of the full days I was there. I’m not from Canada so I can’t speak too much about the location, other than it was conveniently located for the things I needed to access during my business trip and I felt safe.

TLDR: SO MANY LOUD KIDS. DO NOT COME HERE TO RELAX. My partner and I stayed here twice (2025 and 2026) for two nights to visit places nearby, and both times coincided with a kids hockey tournament. I guess there is an arena nearby so it seems throughout the year families are filling this hotel to attend the games. The staff warned us ahead of time and told us if we hear any noise to immediately call, and that they have security on site. That was comforting enough so I thought there’d be no issue. First off, during both of our trips, EVERY restaurant nearby this hotel was PACKED with families. In 2025 we had to go around to several different restaurants to try and get a table. This year we made a reservation to avoid this problem and let me tell you EVERY table at east side Mario’s on a random Friday was FULL of kids - We overheard staff threatening to take time off over it because it was that level of overwhelming. On the Saturday of our stay, kids were absolutely TEARING down the hallway, screaming and playing tag during evening hours (7pm ish). Only after we called to complain TWICE to a very uninterested staff member, the parents sent their offspring to terrorize another floor of the hotel, rather than telling them to be quiet and play in the room (amazing). Even after that, there was still sporadic yelling, running and banging in the hallways even sometimes running into our door sending me into near psychosis. The rooms are nice enough - comfortable beds, good blackout shade on the window. However there’s no fan in the washroom and we had to turn the temperature up ungodly high to get any heat in the room in winter. Very strange. The fan unit was spewing cold air even with the room set to 74 F. None of this matters all that much when you are just trying not to spiral into madness because parents have set their bundles of joy loose in the hallways when you’re trying to relax. With all that being said I know there is only so much hotel staff can do about loud kids. However please know that if you come here you are not a priority over the children that haunt the hallways of this hotel. Will not be staying here again.

Great stay! The beds were super comfortable and the room was spotless with a nice bathroom, shower, TV, microwave, and fridge. The hotel has a pool and a clean exercise room, and it’s close to shopping, restaurants, and highways. Very kid-friendly with kind, welcoming staff. Great value for the price! There was even a hockey team staying when we were there—fun atmosphere but still quiet and relaxing.
