Stayed 3 nights, solo, in early October of 2025. Loved having a full "condo" suite, with kitchen, etc. instead of just a hotel room. Property is set back from main highway, railway tracks, etc. Very close to "downtown" Canmore though. Free underground parking was great and easy to access. Front desk staff was friendly and helpful when I had a wi-fi issue. Gave me a small late check-out upon request also. Beautiful mountain view from my room! Clean, quiet, safe property and onsite restaurant was a huge plus. I took food from there all 3 nights to my room and ordered something different each night. Curry was amazing! I was very happy here and after researching many properties in Canmore and then seeing them once there, I was way happier with this location than any others. Most are right on the main strip of hotel/resto road. Would recommend.

Stayed at the Silver Creek Lodge for three days. It was for me and my fiancée to get engaged, we had the best weekend and truly a special time. Jacob was the person who helped me the most, truly had the best hospitality service we have received anywhere in our lives and went out of his way to make sure we truly had an amazing stay at the hotel. Sally who is the manager in the afternoons was also an absolute delight of a person. She also helped us with our room and went above and beyond to make sure we had the best experience possible. Our room was beautiful, so is the hotel and the people who work here. Jacob and Sally are truly kind people and go out of there way for their guests. The restaurant was delicious! The waiting staff were all amazing and gave the best service. Luna was also the best greeter we’ve ever had at any hotel! We will be most definitely returning to the Silver Creek Lodge next time we go to Canmore. I will also be recommending this hotel to anyone I know that wants to have a special weekend away in Canmore. Thanks again to Jacob, Sally, and the rest of the staff for giving us an amazing weekend.

We have stayed here a couple of times and got a 2 bedroom suite each time and we love it here. Great views, cozy spaces, everything you need for a great stay whether it is a short or long stay. Pic is a pan view from the balcony. I could sit and stare at the mountains all day.

The rental guest rooms are dated and in need of repair (we've stayed in several different rooms and all had some kind of issue). The underground parking is extremely dirty as it is not properly maintained. Upon doing a deep dive, we discovered that Silver Creek Lodge is run by Waymarker Hospitality and there is an ongoing lawsuit against Waymarker affecting the operation of the building. The most disturbing discovery is that there was a suspicious death in one of the hot tubs approximately one year ago. Silver Creek Lodge has not been forthcoming with what exactly happened. To make matters worse, there are no security cameras in the building. The only thing going for this hotel is the view. That's why most people come, to visit the Rockies. We have moved on to staying at a properly run hotel and one where we can feel safe when we visit Canmore.
