Rooms are unclean and smell, started getting itchy as soon as I lay down in bed. The stairs to the top bunks aren’t accessible so you have to awkwardly jump on the bottom persons bunk while trying not to wake them up. The hostel is 9pm latest check in but I got an email saying my room was cancelled at 8pm - I still managed to check in at 8:30pm but it was a bit strange. Luckily I only had to stay here from 8pm till 8am so I stuck it out, if I had to stay any longer I’d probably look for a new place!

I had a great time here. I stayed a couple of months and so glad I did! Pierre is incredibly friendly and helpful, the hostel is really well located, and it's a cosy place. Bar across the street can get a little noisy if you're staying on the street side, but didn't bother me cos I listen to music while I sleep. Nice patio and rooftop and all the facilities I needed. Place was clean and secure and I will definitely stay again if I come back to Québec!!

The location is good but that’s the only positive. Don’t plan on leaving your bag if arrive before 4pm. The guy that runs the place won’t care to help you until 4pm. Not a minute sooner. The rooms are dirty and windows don’t have screen so bugs get in. Bathrooms are gross which was no surprise. I left the hostel after two days and felt so relived to go somewhere else.

The guy that welcome you is nice but there’s a old woman coughing in the living room who supervise everything and she’s not too friendly, like the beds and specially the pillows
