Excellent staff at this hotel. We are a Provincial Sports Team that stays often at this hotel when we have High Performance Training at the INS. The front staff work diligently at ensuring that requests are met, when available. When our team comes back, they always have great reviews about the staff, hotel, rooms and overall accommodations. Also located in a great area close to Metro. I also am a Travel Agent and will have no problem recommending my clients to stay here. Thank you especially to the Front Desk staff on upcoming stay, you made magic happen for getting the rooms we needed....appreciate all of your help!

Family Stay (2 Days, 2 Nights) Check-in was quick and painless. Parking, however, was straight out of The Hunger Games. We were warned it was “limited due to construction,” but didn’t realize “limited” meant “musical chair for car” spot. So we left the car parked the entire stay, terrified that if we moved it, we’d be banished to some sketchy, overpriced lot. Toiletries: Two tiny tubes of shampoo and conditioner for three adults. That’s not sharing—that’s rationing. Most hotels have dispensers now, so I didn’t pack my own. Lesson learned: BYO shampoo unless you enjoy playing Survivor in the shower. On the bright side, the shower itself was fantastic—like a massage to the back, but a machine gun to the head. Pillows: One per person. I like options when it comes to neck support, so we requested extras. Thankfully, they arrived. Restaurant (Le Toit Rouge): * Spaghetti Bolognese – Generous portion, easily feeds two. Solid choice. * Meat Lasagna – More sauce than noodles. If you love swimming in meat sauce, this is your dish. * Caesar Salad with Grilled Chicken – Surprisingly fresh, with capers and nicely grilled chicken. * Cheeseburger with Fries – Burger scored 7/10 from my daughter (our resident burger critic). Cheese was MIA, and the fries were limp and cold—like Costco fries left out too long. The Bill: $126 with tip. Verdict: food is hit-or-miss, stay was okay. Would I return? Probably not as a first or second choice.

The staff were very friendy and responsive to all requests. There was a hockey tournament and the hotel was well managed. The hockey parents seemed to enjoy themselves responsibly and the hotel was very quiet by 8:30pm each night so that the rest of the guests could sleep early if necessary.

A 4 star hotel with 1-star wifi. Can't even handle messaging without getting disconnected. But the people are awesome, very friendly and I talk to them every time I am here. And the new renovated rooms are much better
