I’ve stayed at the Ottawa Marriott Hotel a couple of times over the years, and each visit left a consistently positive impression. The experience was smooth from the moment of arrival — friendly staff, efficient check‑in, and a welcoming atmosphere that made the stay feel easy and uncomplicated. The rooms were clean, comfortable, and well‑maintained, with everything you’d expect from a reliable downtown hotel. What stood out most was the sense of steadiness: nothing over the top, nothing trying too hard, just a dependable place to rest, recharge, and get on with your day. For work trips or short stays in the city, that kind of reliability goes a long way. The location is another plus — close to the core, easy to navigate, and convenient for both business and exploring Ottawa’s landmarks. Even though my stays were years ago, the overall impression has stayed with me: a solid, trustworthy hotel that delivers exactly what you need without any hassle. Would stay again without hesitation.

I had a really nice stay on the 10th floor. The room was nice, the service was great, and the bed was comfy. There was some renovations noice during the day but that was all. The elevators made noice going up and down that I could hear in my room but it wasn't too bad, just noticable. The staff were pleasant and offered lots of advice on activities nearby.

Unfortunately, our experience at this hotel was disappointing. The hallways and common areas were not clean, which created a poor first impression. The restaurant service was extremely disappointing — unprofessional staff— and the breakfast quality was far below expectations. In addition, the parking fee was unreasonably expensive. The only positive aspects of our stay were the room itself, which was comfortable and well-maintained, and the reception staff, who were friendly and helpful. I would strongly recommend avoiding the restaurant if you decide to stay here.

We had a great stay at the Marriott Ottawa. The newly renovated rooms look fantastic and feel very fresh. A special shout-out to Sam at reception, who was incredibly helpful and made our check-in seamless. The pool was excellent, and our family really appreciated having dedicated teen and kids' rooms-it kept everyone entertained! Just a heads-up that the lounge was closed during our visit, but everything else was top-notch. Highly recommend for families!
