Location was great, and hotel staff were very friendly. The gym was not really a gym (3 pieces of equipment only 1 really worked) but free access to the better gym at the sister hotel over the street. The breakfast was average. The rooms were ok. Bed was adequate. Nice shower. Warm temperature room which was nice but noisy heater (sometimes it wakes you).

The front desk staff seriously need better customer service training. The service we received was very disappointing. We arrived around 2:30 PM, and the morning shift staff member (working until 3 PM) was extremely rude and unwelcoming. She did not know how to properly greet or assist guests. Unfortunately, I forgot to take her name, but the experience left a very bad impression.Would not recommend and will never come back to this hotel.

This is NOT a 4 star hotel by any stretch of imagination despite what Expedia or Priceline says. There are a few good points and there are a few undesirable. My objective view is that everyone will have their own boxes to check in selecting a hotel. I got a nice, decent-sized room with plenty of glass windows presenting a view of the street. It also has a Nespresso machine which was a nice touch. They also offered plush bath robes and slippers which was great It has a sauna which was another check for me. Above all the staff and housekeeping are Excellent. Super nice and friendly. Where it fell short was 1. Breakfast (nothing I could eat), 2. Traffic noise (windows are old), 3. Confusing thermostat. It was only for AC. For heater you have to use a fireplace in the room which would light up so if you need dark room, you are out of luck and it’s fan makes a noise so no quite sleep. 4. Gym cannot be called a gym. 5. No elevator, although I didn’t mind. Would I stay there again? I don’t think so if there are other options.

I thoroughly recommend Chateau Versailles. I spent 6 nights here in the king room suite. The room was immaculately clean, quiet and comfortable. The daily breakfast was delicious and nutritious. The hotel staff were always courteous and helpful. The location is super convenient for transport and sightseeing. Overall, a very enjoyable stay and great value. Highly recommend.
