We were sorely disappointed by the misrepresentation of the ‘unforgettable fine dining experience’. We thought we were in for what was advertised at $45 a person, and what we got was a bowl of spagetti and Caesar salad. No two fresh vegetable option, no beef or chicken, no multi courses, no service. I felt like I was at hillbilly heaven lining up at the trough. When I reached out for a refund, this was their response: While roast beef is highlighted on our website, meals are selected by the cook from a rotating list of chef-designed menus. We understand that value is subjective; however, preparing fresh, home-cooked meals in a remote setting carries significant cost. For this reason, we are unable to issue a refund for the meal. We appreciate your feedback and hope the remainder of your stay was enjoyable. You can decide for yourself if you want to make the drive for this. We will not be going back. I included their advertising photos and then photos of what we got. I asked where on the property this breakfast picture was taken, but have not recieved a response yet.

I booked a stay in September/25 for February/26 as a surprise for my brother and his wife. I contacted the Lodge to see what activities may be available for them or any advice they may give on what he could do during his stay. Initially I had a few replies from staff, but they noted no horse back riding in the winter due to conditions, and that they offered wolf hunts, or could consider fishing/hiking/snowshoe independently. I enquired further about the hunts 29Oct and never heard back. I sent 3 emails up into Dec, and finally called reception who said they would find out for me. Over a week later I hadn’t heard back so I called again and was told there are no hunts available. Upon my frustration I had a call from the manager as well, whom confirmed no hunts available (nothing near the stay and provided no further helpful info). I asked for advice on independent hunting, fishing, etc and was provided nothing. As a customer I wonder when the hunt was sold out and if the lack of contact from the facility contributed to this. I was planning this as a surprise and trying to organize what I could so they would not be left in this remote location with nothing to do during their stay. I would have been happy if they had provided some other suggestions (hikes, maps, ideas for activities during the stay) but it seemed like they didn’t want my business. I felt like a burden for asking these questions - I ended up cancelling the stay and having to make alternate plans last minute prior to gifting them this on Christmas. I was disappointed as other reviews and information sounded promising and booking 5.5 months in advance seemed reasonable for planing. I was hoping for an awesome adventure for my brother’s surprise honeymoon.

We had a great time at the Lodge. Big thank you's to Candie, Jessica, and Tina. We ate better than we do at home! The beds were very comfortable. The cabin had everything we needed. We were pleasantly surprised by the wild horses along our route. We also saw deer and big horn sheep! Thank you for the getaway! The scenery was spectacular.

We stayed here last year as we had a friends wedding down the road, and i would highly recommend! We stayed in the cedar suite and paid for meals as we didn't want to bring food with us and it didn't disappoint! The food was amazing and the staff were so sweet and welcoming, they made the mini vacation that much better. Thank you so much for your hospitality!!
