We had a very pleasant stay at the Bow… the bedrooms are not fairly large but is cozy. The powder room is awesome as ours have that mixture of vintagey look with a claw foot free standing soak tub… it adds the romantic flair, beside it also is a modern shower sauna type that accommodates you to sit down while in it. The lamps also gives the homey feeling. I do praise the host as the shampoos, conditioner and the soaps for the guests are local company products from Canmore- to me that is a huge plus. The family room is quite large, we like the electric fireplace and the tv on top. The lamps give a mountainy feel because of the deer antler stands. The couch also is a plus as it is a pull down which gives additional sleeping bed. The kitchen is awesome as the host has kitchen wares and is clean upon our arrival. The best view I think is at the veranda/balcony - where you can eat out and grill while enjoying the three sisters mountain best view in town! Over all we give 5 stars to our host and will definitely return and a repeat client, also we will highly recommend it yo our friends and people we know to experience the best view and host in Canmore!

Amazing stay for a couple of nights. Comfortable beds, fireplace in every room, we'll equipped kitchen and close to many two amenities. The only disappointment was the lack of on-site representation. Check in and all inquiries are by phone or email. No front desk associate. Still our stay was top notch! We will be back!

This place has gone downhill, which is too bad because it was great before. I believe there is new ownership by the Grande Rockies resort. We had a room that has two washrooms, one of the bathrooms was not working at all no running water whatsoever. We were really embarrassed in front of our out-of-town guests. We contacted the big grande resort, and they seemed unapologetic and offered very little to compensate. Looks like some rooms are under construction, but of course when you book they don’t tell you that so they can make the money. Two of the TVs didn’t work either. This is maybe our sixth time back, but it will be our last. Many other places to lodge in Canmore , this should not be on your list.

Our first unit had no hot water in the shower. We asked to have someone look into it in the morning. By the evening, we were still dealing with the problem, and no one seemed to care to help. They finally moved us to a new unit the following day. We bring everything in and notice the floor is incredibly sticky. There are no cleaning supplies so I grab a hand towel from the bathroom and some hand soap - the filth I picked up was unreal. I invite you to take a look at the photo after a few quick wipes of the area in front of the kitchen sink. Absolutely disgusting, and it really has made us wonder how clean the rest of the unit is. The area rug looks like it has not been cleaned or replaced since 2015. The table has spots of sticky goo, and there was bits of the previous guest’s cereal and trail mix under the table. Poor management, Bellstar. This is unacceptable. We have stayed in hundreds of hotels and vacation rental, the extreme lack of cleanliness here is something we’ve never encountered. This place looks beautiful from the exterior, but it is getting worse every year. There is no care or attention to
