I’m a current tenant and I’m telling you to avoid at all costs. -The trash room is completely unmanaged and absolutely disgusting. -The parking garage costs $200+ a month, the building utilizes a car elevator system in the parking garage that is unreliable with frequent jams and outages. -Fahel Co are the property management company and try to push all requests through an app, that would be fine but they are unresponsive leaving you feeling your requests are going into a void. This might be my second Google review ever, it’s my first negative one but that sums up my experience living in Canvas Lofts managed by Fahel Co…. NEGATIVE

I would give -5 starts if I could. I’ve had a very frustrating experience living at Canvas Loft. While the apartment itself and the location are genuinely nice, the management is unreliable, particularly when it comes to the parking garage. The garage system has frequent malfunctions, and you only find out there’s an issue when you’re already trying to leave. I work as a doctor, and these repeated garage failures have caused me to be late to work multiple times. When the garage doesn’t work, residents are forced to take an Uber. Management either takes months to reimburse these expenses or outright refuses, claiming the garage was functioning, even when provided with proof, including security camera footage. This ongoing issue has been a constant source of stress and inconvenience. I would strongly discourage anyone who owns a car or relies on reliable parking from living in this building.

I am extremely disappointed with my experience at Canvas Loft. The parking system is utterly unreliable. I have been paying $235 every month for parking, and the system breaks down every few days, leaving me stranded and unable to access my parking spot. This is completely unacceptable, especially when I’m paying such a high fee for this service. What’s worse is that I’m not the only one affected. All the tenants in the building are equally frustrated. The constant issues with the parking system not only cause inconvenience but also create dangerous situations. What if there’s a medical emergency, and I need to drive to the hospital but can't access my car? The management doesn’t seem to care about any of these concerns. I’ve been paying rent regularly, including the parking fee, but clearly, I’m not receiving the service I’m paying for. This level of negligence and lack of accountability is infuriating. I would highly recommend avoiding Canvas Loft until they address these serious issues, especially with the parking. It’s truly one of the worst living experiences I’ve had, and I regret choosing to live here. In short, do not waste your money. The management doesn't care about the tenants, and the services provided are consistently failing. Terrible experience overall!

Hello dear readers, We are Afef and Essam, we’re new to Canada and almost couldn’t find someone to rent us an apartment without a credit score and so on. And it was when we lost hope when we got a call from Canvas lofts to show us an apartment. We were incredibly happy and more when we saw it, so new, safe, and well furnished. The surrounding is great, a park, public pool, market, shops, and schools. We’re living here since August 1st and we’re really comfortable and thankful. We even moved smoothly to a bigger apartment and got an indoor parking. People here are very friendly. Rent might be a bit high. However given the condition of the building, safety, and how helpful people are, it is worth it.
