I had a lovely experience this past 2 days. We had to stay for my mom’s surgery The beds were clean and comfy. Lots of towels and hot water. Ice machine , microwave , washer and dryer and vending machine for late night snack needs in a seperate room by front office , There was a guy picking up all the garbage and butts every morning ensuring the parking lot was spotless. The front desk staff is absolutely amazing. Very friendly and all around a great place to stay. Hot tub was hot as one should be and sauna was a bonus addition. Highly recommend Thank you for the wonderful stay and last minute accommodation ( moving us from top level to main level for my moms surgery )

Stayed here for 3 nights with my husband, check in process was smooth, room was very clean (outdated though). If you are not looking for anything fancy, and just need somewhere to stay while you explore than this is the place for you. Great location, short walk of about 20 ish mins into the downtown. Lots of good restaurants and cafes around. Beautiful views all around, when you walk out of your room all you see is mountains and it is beautiful!! Whenever we had an issue with anything the front desk was very quick to answer and tried their best to fix our issues. We had troubles with the wifi one day and apparently we were the only room with this issue, they offered to switch us to a different room for the remainder of our stay. The bathroom was clean and shower had good pressure. They had a park at the hotel for children and BBQs outside if anyone wanted to use them.

the appartment was spacious and equiped. My flight was late and they stayed a bit later so I could check-in in person. There are parking spaces. The main disadvantage, that many of the rooms in Canmore has, was the proximity to the rail road. I heard the train all night long. but overall, great places, wonderful service. I'd come back again.

Absolutely terrible experience. Do not be fooled by the name, this place is NOT a lodge, NOT a hotel, and barely qualifies as a functioning motel. It is rundown, poorly maintained, and feels like it’s being operated by people who simply do not care. From the moment I checked in, the staff was rude, dismissive, and unprofessional. To make things worse, the price of the room changed without any notice or explanation, which felt dishonest and borderline scammy. When I asked a basic question about whether the room had a microwave, the staff laughed at me instead of answering. I’ve never experienced such disrespect as a paying guest. The room itself was awful. The beds and pillows were old, flat, and extremely uncomfortable, clearly overdue for replacement. Getting a good night’s sleep was impossible. The heater was another disaster. It took over 24 hours to reach the temperature I set, which is completely unacceptable, especially if you’re staying during colder weather. The entire place feels outdated, neglected, and mismanaged. Nothing about this stay was relaxing or enjoyable. What was supposed to be a vacation turned into a miserable experience. This place ruined the trip and left me frustrated and disappointed. Save yourself the trouble, money, and stress—stay literally anywhere else. I would never return and strongly advise others to avoid this place
