Great value for money overall. The hotel was clean and at a convenient location. The front desk representative Paul was courteous and knowledgeable. The onsite French restaurant is among the best in the country. However, the room could get a little noisy when connected to another room, and details like door locks and hallway telephones could be better maintained.

I always have a wonderful time when staying at this hotel, nice pool, clean rooms, central location to the theatre and some restaurants plus some delicious on site food options (try the crème brûlée trust me!). The most stand out part of this location for me is the wonderful staff! Shoutout to Paul and Karrah (hope I spelled that right) at the front desk for such exceptional service, I’ve had the pleasure to deal with Paul on several occasions and he is always fantastic! I hope this location knows what amazingly helpful and kind staff they have. As someone in the customer service business it can be a rare gem to have such phenomenal workers especially when you have the role of dealing with so many personalities but these two had big smiles and were awesome I really appreciate everything they do! My fiancé and I would totally recommend spending time here, worth every penny.

We had an absolutely wonderful stay and cannot say enough about the cleanliness of the hotel and, most importantly, the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, the front desk team—Paul, Dave, and Karrah—were outstanding. We were in town for a kids’ hockey tournament, and as many families know, not all hotels are particularly welcoming to teams of children. This was completely different. The staff went above and beyond to greet our kids, engage them in conversation, and genuinely make them feel welcome and valued. We had an unfortunate schedule change on checkout day that left us with an eight-hour gap between games. Without hesitation, the staff graciously extended our checkout time and even provided a conference room for the families to relax in. They made what could have been a stressful situation completely seamless. It was just as easy for several families, including ours, to extend our stay by an extra night. After the kids returned to the hotel having won the gold medal, the staff was waiting with excitement, offering sincere congratulations and little celebratory chocolates. It was such a thoughtful and memorable gesture. The next morning, Paul greeted the girls with genuine excitement about their hard work and win the night before—it truly meant so much to them. The girls absolutely adored their stay at this lovely hotel, and as parents, we were so grateful for the warmth, flexibility, and kindness shown to our families. This is a place that truly understands hospitality. We would not hesitate to return and highly recommend this hotel to anyone—especially families traveling with kids.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ We had an absolutely incredible stay at the Kanata Inn and Suites during my daughter’s hockey tournament, and I honestly can’t say enough good things about this place. We arrived on Thursday and ended up staying an extra night on Sunday due to a late game, and from the moment we walked in, we felt so welcomed. Paul greeted us with the biggest, most genuine smile and such positive energy — he immediately made us feel comfortable after a long drive. That level of warmth continued throughout our entire stay. Our rooms were amazing: spotless, extremely comfortable, and clearly well cared for. The housekeeping staff were so kind and friendly, even during check-in, which really stood out. Dave was also incredible, and the kids had the best time the whole weekend. The location is perfect for families — there’s an arcade directly across the street and tons of great restaurants in the plaza, which made downtime between games so easy and fun. What truly sets this hotel apart, though, is how far above and beyond the staff go. On Monday morning, while we were having coffee, they brought us chairs and water without us even asking. And Paul surprised the girls with custom certificates celebrating their championship win at the Painted Purple Tournament — something none of us will ever forget. It meant so much to the team and parents. We’ve stayed at many hotels over the years for hockey tournaments, and this was by far the best experience we’ve ever had — and that’s entirely because of the staff. Even the French restaurant on site was outstanding — incredible food and the best martinis! I honestly don’t know how so many wonderful people can work in one place, but the Kanata Inn and Suites has figured it out. If you’re traveling for a tournament, family trip, or just need a great place to stay, I couldn’t recommend this hotel more highly. We’ll absolutely be back.
