First time at this place, we had a room with a very nice view on the lake! The room was small and clean had a mini fridge, microwave, iron, hairdryer, soap, shower gel, shampoo and conditioner! It was very confortable and had everything we needed for the night and more! tWe ordered food from the restaurant and it was de-li-ciiousss, the soup, the sandwiches and the pasta were amazinggg! The continental breakfast offered omelette, pancakes, bread, muffins, cereal, croissants, yogurt, fresh fruit, juice, coffee, tea, almond milk and great service!I have to say the kindness of people here in Ottawa has been out of this world!!!! Thank youuu! I would definitely come back to this hotel! We wish you lots of sucess!!!

This hotel is very basic and did not meet expectations based on the pictures. The first room we were given did not have a lock on the bathroom door, so we had to change rooms. The stand-up shower was extremely small and barely fit one person. The room was not very clean—there was hair on the pillows, which was disappointing. The river view is not worth paying extra for, especially in winter, as it is just a very small view through the window. Breakfast was extremely basic with limited options. On a positive note, the front desk staff were polite and helpful. Overall, I would not stay here again.

Good room. Clean and modern - great view of the canel. Ample parking and free breakfast was a great perk. Wish it was a bit closer to the core but not too far away either (20 min or so drive)

Honestly the hotel is roughly the same as any other Ramada in the city but what makes this place so special is the fact that the staff makes it a Ramada worthwhile. I know Debra is the person I had the pleasure to deal with and she made me feel welcomed and invited she's professional attentive and creates an atmosphere of feeling heard. We can all choose to stay at any place or Hotel for that matter but if you're lucky enough to stay here you'll be happy you did. I'd also mention that the restaurant staff is awesome and the service is great from check in to check out they've got you covered. I'm honestly not good with names which is why I didn't add other names to review and there's a possibility that I've messed up Deborah's name also but you'll know who she is once you get to speak to her.
