The hotel is under renovation and it's clear you can see that. Small things like the microwave on the first floor in a massive room by itself in total darkness. There was no lights and when asked the response was "I'm not sure why the lights are off" but nothing was done to turn them on. So I heated my baby bottle in total darkness. My room key stopped working 4 times. It was annoying and no I didn't have it near my phone. The breakfast was foolishness. You have to get coupons as they are different from the hotel. Eggs, bread, sausage, cut oranges. Simple, bland, not presentable or good. The older white lady working was so rude, she should just retire and should not be greeting guests. The food options could be upgraded with the hotel. And guests should have an option to take away food. I was leaving for a tournament and didnt have time to sit down and eat. I just wanted to grab something to take with me and almost got crucified. Absolutely ridiculous. The guy at check in was not warm or welcoming. He was on face time and was rushing to go back to his conversation. The black lady I spoke to about the keys one of the times was the only one that apologized and offered to have someone check out the door. I declined as I was checking out in the morning and just needed to get back in the room at that point. Parking is across the street under the highway. Was not expecting that. I liked the location,. It was close to what I needed. The hotel was very clean. The cleaners were FANTASTIC and the friendliest at the hotel. The beds were comfy and I liked the fact the rooms were not carpeted. My windows was cracked but thankfully no air was coming in.

I rarely leave reviews, but after this stay I feel like people need to know what to expect. From the moment I checked in, the customer service was disappointing and unwelcoming. There was no sense that guests actually mattered, which set the tone for the rest of the stay. The first night was by far the worst — I was bitten by bed bugs, which is something no guest should ever have to deal with. It was extremely uncomfortable and honestly disturbing. Yes, they did switch me to another room, but that was pretty much the end of it. There was no real follow-up, no proper explanation, and no clear procedure communicated to me. It felt like they just wanted to move on from the situation rather than take it seriously. For something as serious as bed bugs, I expected a lot more care and professionalism. I do want to mention that the African American lady at the front desk was kind and helpful, and I appreciate her effort — she was one of the few bright spots in an otherwise poor experience. This review is not about her. Aside from that, the overall atmosphere felt careless and disorganized. It never felt like staff genuinely cared about making the stay comfortable. Breakfast was okay, but nothing special and definitely not enough to make up for the rest of the experience. Overall, the experience was very disappointing, especially the bed bug issue which completely ruined my stay. That situation alone made the stay unacceptable. Unfortunately, I will not be staying here again.

Staff was helpful and polite. The room was clean and nice. But there was no hot water in the morning and the room coffee machine was unplugged and couldn't be plugged at its location. Had to move it on the floor and still didn't work

I traveled to Montreal to visit family. Initially, I booked a hotel that was far from where my family lives, so I decided to change hotels and found one about 15 minutes from my aunt’s home. Unfortunately, the price I paid for this room was not worth it. The room was not properly equipped for guests. The closet was broken, and there were no hangers to hang my clothes. After calling multiple times, I had to wait until the next day for assistance. Since the room had a kitchen, I requested pots, pans, dishes, and utensils to cook. However, someone brought me a dirty pot. When I went to the reception desk, a staff member told me they do not provide items to clean pots or dishes. I explained that this might be why I was given dirty cookware. I then requested to change to a better room, but my request was denied. I was also told that I could not change rooms or cancel the remainder of my reservation because I booked through Expedia.
