I was super-impressed with the room I was given. It looked brand-spanking-new, like I was the first guest to ever stay in it. Everything was sleek and clean—and it was the first time (in North America, anyway) that I'd ever seen a hotel room with ZERO CARPETING anywhere; it was all beautiful vinyl-hardwood flooring—which meant that it could literally be washed/sanitized every single day. The bathroom was also a pleasant surprise: modern, tastefully designed, with tile floor and a large walk-in shower behind a floor-to-(near-)ceiling clear-glass panel & door (with not a single fingerprint in sight), and a long counter that allowed more than enough space for a whole mess of toiletries and cosmetics. The only drawback was that the sink and counter were inordinately low, as though designed for wheelchair users. I'm only 5'3, and it was too low even for ME to use without practically bending in half. There was a king-size bed in my room, and it was everything that can be expected when one thinks of the descriptor 'hotel quality': clean, firm, comfortable; no sagging mattress, pristine white bedding, and plenty of pillows. It was a bit of a luxury to spend the night before my flight at a hotel (compared to paying cab fare to the airport on the day of), but the price was still ridiculously reasonable for what I got. I'll definitely be treating myself to this Radisson on the eve of my next trip, if only for the relaxing and calming effect it had on my state of mind the following day, allowing me to enjoy a far more pleasant travel experience. Just a note . . . The only oddity was the staff I encountered. They were not the smiling, solicitous service personnel you typically associate with hotel staff who work the front desk. While polite enough, they didn't offer any helpful information unless you coaxed it out of them, were very dry and robotic in their duties ("Here, sign this."), and did not even go through the motions of offering the standard smile and 'Enjoy your stay' when they sent you off to your room with the key card. The guy who served me on my way in looked like he got called in to work on his night off, and he was damned if he was going to make the slightest effort to appear particularly personable.

We had an excellent stay at the Radisson Hotel Montréal Aéroport in November 2025. The hotel is very spacious and pleasant. We especially loved the pool area with its large open space where kids can relax and enjoy themselves. The lobby is large and beautiful, a great place to sit and relax. We also found the large self-serve snack area open at all times very convenient. The staff are very welcoming and friendly. We are a French-speaking family living in Ontario, and we really appreciated being able to speak French with the staff during our stay. We will gladly return on our next visit to Montreal!

If you're on a delayed/cancelled flight and the airline gives you a choice, don't choose this place. This place isn't good. It's fairly close to the airport but not as convenient as other options. There's a shuttle to the airport but sometimes there's large gaps in when it runs. The restaurant only serves some meals, maybe only the overpriced breakfast. My room was incredibly dark. In desperate need of another lamp or an overhead light. The room was half-serviced. I had towels, but no washcloths. There were brackets on the walls intended for shampoo bottles, etc. but there were none in the. The TV had a large line through it. There is absolutely no sound-proofing between rooms. If it was between this and sleeping in the airport terminal this might be the better option, but only just.

The location of this hotel is great if you have an overnight connection, and the shuttle bus is timely/convenient. However, once you get inside, your mileage may vary. When we arrived, we were assigned and given the keys to a room that was already occupied. Unfortunately for the occupant of that room, we woke him up by bursting into his room while he was sleeping (we had arrived fairly late owing to a delayed flight). After the long poorly-put walk back to the front desk, we were given a different room that was a downgrade from the one we had booked. In the room, there were little bits of dirt here and there and what appeared to be a dried blood stain on one of the sheets that had been unsuccessfully laundered. Bathroom was nice enough but nowhere near enough space to put your soap, shampoo, etc. while taking a shower. Properly itself is a bit run down and not well maintained physically as well. A few days after checking out, I received a survey from the hotel asking about my stay. I mentioned the issues and got a followup email from the property saying they were sorry I didn't have a great time and mentioned compensation. Despite my having replied to that email, there has been no additional follow-up (or compensation for that matter) after a couple of months. I guess satisfaction and attention to detail are not that important after all...
