We stayed here last minute for one night when our flight got rerouted from Toronto and had to land in Montreal instead. The room was clean, the beds were comfortable and the shower was hot. If you are looking for just the basics, this is a great place! The next morning, they even gave us a later checkout when our flight was delayed. All in all, it was exactly what we expected and we would do a short stay here again.

I booked this hotel through Expedia for the same night and nowhere did it mention any check-in restriction. When I arrived, the front desk guy Chris told me I was “too early” to check in even though he admitted the same room type was available. Instead of giving the room that I already paid for, he tried to force me to cancel my Expedia booking and book directly with them. This is unethical, unprofessional and clearly a scam practice to avoid third-party bookings. Chris was extremely rude, stubborn and harassing. He showed no basic customer service, no hospitality and no respect for guests who are traveling and tired. Expedia customer service even tried to speak to him, but he refused to cooperate and intentionally made the process stressful. If this hotel doesn’t want to work transparently with Expedia or other platforms, they should remove their listings instead of harassing paying customers. This place lacks management, ethics and hospitality. I strongly warn others to avoid this hotel – plenty of better options in Montreal. Shameful experience. Never again.

This hotel completely ruined our stay. We had booked two queen beds, but when we arrived past midnight, the property was overbooked and they forced us into a single king room. One of us had no place to stay and had to scramble to find another hotel in the middle of the night. To make things worse, no email or communication was ever sent to let us know they were overbooked. The room we were given also had a strong cigarette smell, making it even more unpleasant and unacceptable. Their staff offered no help, no empathy, and no accountability. Instead of fixing the issue, they made us struggle after a long day of travel, which was both unsafe and disrespectful. To make it worse, they later refused to provide a refund and thought a few loyalty points would somehow make up for the mess. This hotel clearly does not value its guests, their safety, or their commitments. If you want peace of mind and basic respect for your booking, stay far away from this place.

Our stay was completely ruined by the front desk person, Chris. We had a confirmed booking through Expedia, but when we arrived, he suddenly mentioned a check-in time,which was never stated anywhere on our reservation. Even though our room was already paid for, Chris rudely said he couldn’t check us in through Expedia and told us to book directly with the hotel instead. When we tried to explain and request help, he was rude, dismissive, and even acted in a racist and unprofessional way. It was around 3 a.m., and we had just driven all the way from Toronto, exhausted and just wanting to rest. We called Expedia and waited over 30 minutes while they tried speaking to him, but he hung up on them too. I don’t understand why he made things so difficult when the room was available and already paid for. It’s frustrating and heartbreaking imagine if someone with a tight budget had used their last money for the booking and then got treated like this. Nobody deserves that kind of disrespect. The management seriously needs to take action against Chris if they care about their customers. No traveler should go through this kind of experience. Avoid this place until they fix their staff and customer service issues.
