I had a very good stay at Holiday Inn Express & Suites Ottawa Airport overall. The hotel was clean, comfortable, and well maintained. Rooms were nice and the stay felt smooth and convenient, especially being close to the airport. One staff member (an Indian lady at the front desk) was not very polite and came across as rude, which wasn’t a great first impression. However, another staff member named Harsheet was absolutely excellent — very helpful, professional, and friendly. He really made the experience better and stood out with his service. Because of the comfort of the hotel and the good service from Harsheet, I would still recommend this place, but I hope customer service consistency improves.

The hotel staff set this location apart from any other Holiday Inn I have stayed at. The hotel manager at check in was fantastic, the process was smooth, and he even spoiled our kids with treats from the fridge in the lobby. The rooms were clean and updated, although the TV was rather dated (though it worked fine). The breakfast was your standard Holiday Inn hot tray offerings, but were of course delicious and plentiful. The location seemed great, although we weren't there to fly out of YOW so we didn't experience any shuttle service/close to airport features.

Had a really bad experience during our stay. During our stay a hockey was staying on the same floor. The kids created nuisance all over the floor. Shouting and banging doors late night and early morning. The staff was unresponsive and did not resolve the issue even after repeated complaints. I even reached out to customer support, they also did not take any action during our stay. I could not sleep all night and had no a really terrible stay experience. Would not recommend anyone to stay at this hotel.

Staff were 10 🌟 We were stranded for 2 nights, upon checking in, Ashraf was so accommodating. We had frozen meat and he never hesitated to take it and put it in the freezer onsite for us. The breakfast was great, staff at breakfast were super friendly and helpful. The pancake machine was out of batter, within 5 minutes of me mentioning it, it was refilled. The convenience of having laundry facilities for guests is an added bonus. We asked for a 2 hour delay checking out.....with no hesitation we were accommodated. I can't say enough about the staff at this Holiday inn express!
