This 2-star hotel offers a reasonably comfortable stay and matches its 3.5 rating well. The rooms are simple but clean, with the basic essentials you’d expect nothing fancy, but functional for a short trip or overnight stop. The beds are decent, and the housekeeping team does a solid job keeping things tidy. the staff are generally friendly and helpful though service can feel a bit slow during busy check in times. Amenities are limited as expected for a 2 star property, but the free wifi and on site parking are convenient touches. Some areas of the hotel could use an update, especially the bathrooms and hallway which feels a bit worn.

Disappointing Stay Despite Convenient Location Room Type: 1 King Bedroom Guests: 2 adults, 1 child Stay: 2 nights Pros: Convenient location — close to the highway, a major mall, and less than 10 minutes to downtown Ottawa, museums, Parliament Hill, and plenty of local restaurants. Rooms were clean. Complimentary breakfast included. Comfortable king bed. Friendly and helpful staff. Cons: Breakfast area is quite small with limited seating. No elevators (though it’s only a two-storey property). The air conditioner in our room wasn’t working. While the nights were cool, the room still felt stuffy and uncomfortable. Staff were informed but couldn’t assist since the hotel was fully booked. The shower experience was very poor — weak water pressure, slow drainage (standing in ankle-deep water), and we resorted to using the ice bucket to rinse off faster than the shower could manage. Towels provided at check-in were stained and needed replacement. An abandoned, cluttered car parked in front of the hotel gave an unwelcoming impression. Poor lighting in the room — only a few small lamps that didn’t brighten the space adequately. Overall: This hotel is best suited for a short stopover or a quick 1–2 night stay. Unfortunately, our experience didn’t live up to the usual Comfort Inn standards we’ve come to expect. While there’s potential given its location and staff friendliness, the cons outweigh the pros for us this time.

For a 2 star hotel it does the job. Nothing fancy, not dirty, the price is good for what we have. We didn't took the breakfast so can't tell anything about it. The rooms are clean and with a good soundproof. bathroom very renovated and clean. Except the bathroom mat, bathroom curtain that show some holes because very used, they are very clean. My only bad point is the floor carpet, some spots showing some dirty used part that doesn't make us feel comfortable (past accident of coffee on the ground maybe or something else).

Disappointed that breakfast was not available till after 730am one morning. I had to leave before it was ready. First night housekeeping left dirty laundry and garbage in the hallway. However room was clean and comfortable.
