We are currently partway through an extended stay in one of the furnished suites at 185 Minto and have been extremely impressed with every aspect of our experience. Amy R. was wonderful to work with throughout the leasing process—professional, responsive, and a pleasure to deal with. The suite itself is beautifully appointed and thoughtfully equipped with everything we need. It is clean, quiet, and very comfortable. The staff have been exceptional across the board. The concierge team is always professional, welcoming, and eager to help. A special thank you to Andrews N., who has truly gone above and beyond—an outstanding representative for Minto. Housekeeping and maintenance staff are equally excellent. I casually mentioned to the concierge that our coffee maker was acting up, and within five minutes maintenance was at our door with a replacement. That level of responsiveness is remarkable. The amenities are lovely. The resident lounge is spacious, inviting, and relaxing. While we haven’t yet used the gym or pool, they appear very well maintained. The building’s location is ideal—conveniently close to transit, shops, and everyday necessities. Overall, this has been a truly wonderful experience. We would highly recommend 185 Minto to anyone considering an extended stay.

I have been living here over 7 months. It is not perfect, but compares to every other places I have lived in the region, they are distinctively good at communication. Like many other rental buildings, they have issues, but they communicate with you without skipping a beat. You are always informed promptly, the front desk staff, noticeable names such as Andrews and Gabby, extremely friendly and helpful. You cannot imagine. They go way over and beyond to provide service, and you know they care about their job, hence, they care about you. They do. Again, it is not a perfect building, I had maintenance issues show up a few times and cannot be fixed in one go, which were frustrating at times, but I do see them helping me and escalate the situations when it cannot be fixed quickly. They will follow up without you reminding them if it is taking longer than expected. Shouting out to Steve and Boris, they are the maintenance technicians that run everywhere helping us. I can see that they are busy but I can also see that they care. Workers in this building that you see every day, they are amazing. If you are gonna spend tons of money on so-called luxury apartments that feel like cold hotel with mechanical staff that are obviously not being treated well by the company, you might as well come here to an older building that works just fine, yet with great service provided by heart-warming staffs and the units that are cozy and feel like home. Though contacting the agent in the beginning to schedule a viewing was a nightmare, whoever that was, so good luck. (also want to mention the cleaning staff, I haven’t use their housekeeping service yet, but they are often in the hallway and are very friendly) The only downside I don’t like and still can’t get used to, is that the washer is too small, please get me a bigger one s’il vous plaît. If you haven’t pick up the hint, I recommend this place, despite the washer.

I had the awesome pleasure of living at Minto One80Five for the last year. Having everything I needed so close by, like right in the same building (restaurants, market, pharmacy, chiro & massage...no kidding - everything I needed!) was a bonus but what made it truly special was the staff and other residents. Andrews at reception, Gary in admin and Camille in sales made me and my dog Max feel right at home from day one. My unit was West facing and the views of the river and sunsets were stunning. Best building in Ottawa!

I couldn't ask for a better place to settle. The apartment is comfortable with many amenities. It's also within walking distance to a lot of major organizations. It's located close to an important LRT and bus stop, which are next to a supermarket. The staff are kind and attentive. Any issues I had were quickly addressed. They make an effort to host community events. A special shout out to Andrews (such a gem of a person!) and Fisayo who answered my questions about living in Ottawa.
